A: Attendance:

As the college course is of specialized nature, a standard of attendance higher than the minimum required by the board is expected from the students.

1. 90% attendance is must for each student in the class, while 100% attendance is required for lab work.

2. No one is entitled to be marked present except for bona fide attendance, satisfactory work and good behavior during the period.

3. Late-comers may be marked absent.

4. Any student who is found absent from the classes without proper sanction for a continuous period of 10 days including holidays shall automatically be dropped from the rolls of the college on the 11th day of such absence unless the cause of absence is explained to the satisfaction of the principal.

5. The Principal may drop any student from the roles of the college if a student does not attend at least 50% of the lectures delivered in any month and has no satisfactory explanation to offer. The expelled student can apply for re-admission within 10 days after expulsion.

6. Re-admission will be allowed only once along with payment of fine of Rs. 500 and on assurance of his parents/guardian.

7. A fine of Rs. 50 will be imposed on missing a lecture/period deliberately.

B: Leave Application:

Application for leave must be submitted prior to going on leave.

1. Except for illness, a student may not be granted leave for more than three days at a time.

2. An application for leave on medical grounds must be accompanied by medical certificate and the application must be submitted within three days of the ailment.

3. Fine in case of absence at the rate of Rs. 10 per day shall be charged.

C:   Examination / Test:

1. Every candidate in order to pass internal examination is required to obtain 40% marks.

2. It is necessary to obtain 40% marks in practical exams as well.

3. If a student fails in one subject, he or she shall be considered fail as whole.

4. Before leaving the station by the end of the session, a student should ascertain whether he/she has fulfilled the required percentage of attendance to appear in the examination or not. The percentage of lectures required is 80%.

5. A student is supposed to be charged with fine of Rs. 100 per paper on missing any paper / monthly test deliberately.

D: General Discipline Rules:

1. Students should conduct themselves gracefully and modestly, even when outside the premises of the College in order to build and maintain an exemplary reputation.

2. Students are expected to behave gently with the members of the staff, fellow students, and all the visitors in the college.

3. Parents are required to co-operate with college discipline authorities in making the students follow proper dress code in the college. Neatness and dignity and not the trend to keep up with the latest fashions will be considered criterion for proper dress. Tight dress is strictly forbidden.

4. Boys are not allowed to wear long hair and girls are supposed to tie their hair using white hair band.

5. As student is liable to be fined if found guilty of any of the following offences.

6. Impolite or unseemly behavior in classroom or in the college.

7. To persuade other students to absent themselves from regular classes.

8. Scribbling on chairs, tables, doors and walls.

9. Disobedience and neglect of instructions issued by the Principal or members of the staff from time to time.

10. Idle gossip.

11. Lab coat is obligatory for all students during practical’s in labs.

12. No Society of political nature maybe formed in the college and no person be invited to address the students without prior permission of the Principal.

13. Students were not permitted to receive visitors during college hours. Special permission is to be obtained from Principal under un-avoidable circumstances.

14. Students are advised neither to receive nor make telephone calls during college hours.

15. Students are not allowed to go out during college hours, except in emergency cases, while permission will be obtained by a parent or Guardian from the Principal in writing.

16. Students are not allowed to visit admission office as it disturbs the work off the staff.

17. Students are not allowed to bring their cars, motorbikes in the college premises.

18. Students are expected to be very careful about library books. They are not expected to take out books without getting them issued in their names.

19. Students should also be charged if books are returned late and damaged or defaced book is supposed to be replaced by a new one.

20. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones in the college. If anyone is caught with it, the device will be confiscated and fine off Rs. 1000 will be charged.

21. The college administration reserves the right to strike off the name of any student from the college rolls for any of the following offences.

a. Possession or usage of instruments designed to inflict harm.

b. Fighting.

c. Vandalism. Damage to college property will result in an immediate fine depending on the item damaged.

d. Theft.

e. Insubordination.

f. Use off obscene language.

g. Smoking.

h. Violation of the code of conduct.

i. Political activities, protest etc.

22. No exchange of ships whether from evening to morning or morning to evening classes is allowed. Affidavit affirming no exchange of shift should be submitted by every student of evening classes.

23. College dues once submitted is not refundable in case of migration from college or change of shift.

24. Bus card once issued will be considered for the month, matters not the student travels for a day, week or the whole month.

25. Mobile phone / makeup kit, arms and smoking in college campus is strictly prohibited.
